Allschwil Meeting 2004 ---------------------- Sorry, I don't have the original script from this meeting any more. 1) Showing the state of emulator development Emu28 v1.05 Emu42 v1.01 Emu48 v1.35 Emu42PPC v1.01 Emu48PPC v1.00 New to the Allschwil Meeting 2003 are the PPC versions. 2) Different emulations of pioneer calcs Running a HP17B, 17BII, HP19BII, HP27S, HP28S and a HP42S in Emu42 v1.01 and a HP28S and a HP42S in Emu42PPC v1.01 with QVGA resolution. VGA resolution was introduced with Emu42PPC v1.02 in spring 2005. 3) Presentation of his modified HP-28S with RS-232C interface The presentation consists of two parts: a) Removing the IR-transmitter LED and connecting the REDEYE24.PDF interface to the two pins of the IR-LED (Bat+, Signal) and an additional wire to Bat-. b) The assembler software running on the HP28 and an ASCII terminal program on the PC. From this project the assembler souces for the HP28S still exist, the last modifications done in summer 2007. Sorry, there's no tutorial how to assemble the sources and how to get the created binary code into the HP28S as "System Object". The CLAMSHEL.TXT file in the https://hp.giesselink.com/Emu28/CPROMUPL.ZIP archive may give you some tips how to enter assembler code into a HP28S. The archive with the adapter schematic and the source code files can be downloaded here: https://hp.giesselink.com/Meetings/Allschwil2004/HP28SER.ZIP (c) Christoph Gießelink, September 2019
